Our Bellevue based client is seeking a Junior Project Manager to provide operational support, project management, reporting, production team management, vendor relations, and other duties.



Responsibilities include:
•Plan, specify and run team operation process, and provide regular status reports as required.
•Work with stakeholders to develop reports and metrics that meet the team’s objectives.
•Write design specifications for tools and process documentation.
•Assist with leading a project team towards targeted and scheduled outcomes. Engage with project/process owners, stakeholders and business partners as necessary to understand partner requirements and project objectives, ETA’s, and ongoing progress.
•Create, maintain and control the project schedule, facilitate meetings, and proactively identify risks to the project.
•Execute project tasks to meet ETA’s.
•Shepherd the project team through the release process, being mindful of all requirements.
•Work with partners on horizontal effort projects, ensuring quality and punctuality.
•Manage productivity and quality process, and ensure that team members are meeting target rates.
•May support and manage 3rd party vendor relationships to ensure that project business requirements are met.
•Facilitate communications, identify and implement continuous improvement practices, and provide regular status reports as required.
•Responsible for various ad hoc projects or tasks as needed.



Skills required:
•1-2 years of project management/operations experience.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
•Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications, with in-depth knowledge of products/services/applications preferred.
•Interest or background in search optimization a plus.
•Experience writing design specifications for tools and designing tools.
•Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills.
•Ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.
•The ideal candidate will have high-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that pass by many others.
•Must have excellent communication skills, experience working with external vendors, and strong project management skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
