Junior Strategist/planner

OOHHHH this is one of those jobs that doesn't come along often & is an awesome agency with a 'wish list' client list. They are looking for a Junior Planner/Strategist to work within and provide support to the strategic planning team. Your new role will include helping with research, creating and re-shaping content, writing presentations, and general smart thinking across a variety of briefs, but with a skew towards commercial and business planning.

You will have an awareness of the full spectrum of planning and strategy although you may not have worked in it directly. You may have come from a related back ground.You will be looking to start a career in planning & strategy and be happy to learn from the ground up whilst being mentored by too fab seniors.

Times have changed and consumers now expect to have things presented to them. As savvy consumers they/we are more aware and we want to be able to learn about it, play with it, and view it from more than one place. These interactions are your opportunities

As a business they are working closely with the strategic business planning side of international corporations. This includes all internal planning stages and B2B initiatives that need to happen before any consumer-facing communication, such as strategic brand planning, market & portfolio development, competitor & consumer analysis, distribution & trade marketing.

The work involves developing guidelines and documents for various internal & external stakeholders, creating and sharing best practices, developing workshop concepts and presentations and leveraging their internal communication channels

You will be a smart individuals with 1-2 years of relevant experience of working in a strategic business environment, preferably in the field of trade marketing. You will need to have a good understanding of business & marketing processes and the ability to understand and digest strategic business documents, performance reports and shopper research.

The ability to develop a variety of documents and compelling presentations in simple language, with a clear story and smart & effective visualisation is also a must.
