Junior Social Media/Community Manager - LOUISVILLE, KY

One of our ad agency clients is looking for a Social Media expert. You will be tasked with planning, developing, managing and evaluating content for their clients' social media and digital activities. This will involve working and coordinating with the internal Public Relations and Digital teams to create and implement social media and digital tactics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

◊ Plan and manage social media activities on behalf of clients
◊ Create social media and webpage content, including editorial and photo/video content
◊ Proactively monitor social media communities as well as manage response and interaction processes
◊ Manage and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
◊ Regularly provide insights gained from social media monitoring into Public Relations and Marketing teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
◊ Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications
◊ Follow developments in client industries in order to implement relevant communications strategies
◊ Assist in development of social media strategy for clients
◊ Participating in client or vendor meetings, as assigned
◊ Manage relationships with outside vendors utilized to support client projects

QUALIFICATIONS

√ 1 to 2 years relevant experience
√ Experience working in an Ad Agency on multiple client accounts
√ Exceptional skills in writing for online media
√ In-depth knowledge of applying new media tools -- including blogs, social networking sites, location-based services, etc. -- as a marketing communications tool
√ Proficiency in photo and video production and editing for the web
√ Strong project management and organizational skills
√ Ability to research and process broad and diverse information in order to understand client's subject matter and write and produce relevant content
√ Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, build and maintain relationships and work in team environment
√ Working knowledge of principles of SEO
