Junior Proposal Writer/Communications Specialist

Our fantastic forward-thinking Fortune 500 client who offers world-class Charge and Credit Cards, Rewards, Travel, Business Services, and more is in need of a skilled contract/freelance Junior Proposal Writer/Communications Specialist. This role is onsite in either NYC, Wall Street area, Phoenix, AZ, or Salt Lake City, UT; 40 hours a week for 1 year.

Responsibilities:
• Support the development, and delivery of communication documents (RFI/RFP responses and presentations) from planning and research to message delivery
• Build relationships with key business partners to ensure internal customer and external client deadlines are met through effective project management
• Identify best practices and leverage the Value Proposition to differentiate the company’s product offering

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of business experience and demonstrated strengths in producing compelling, professional, and customized client-facing messaging focused on winning or retaining business
• Analyze and synthesize information to create customized messages by understanding the importance of the corporate mission, vision, values and operating principles
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills, including proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong understanding of financial services industry and an understanding of expense management and/or corporate payments a plus
• Proven ability to drive results working independently and as part of a team
• Effective project/ time management skills as well as strategic proposal writing experience a plus
• Experience with Seismic Dynamic Content Management or any RFP automation software desired
