Junior Project Manager/Business Development

Come and work for one of the top humanitarian organizations in the world! Immediate need for a Junior Project Manager/Business Development to work on-site in their Washington, DC office. This is a long term contract opportunity.

This is a contractor position reporting to the Manager of Business Development & Segment Marketing. In this role, cross-collaborative work is expected on a regular basis with Licensing, Development, Digital Engagement, Office of the General Council, Finance and Gift Processing teams from creation of the process to execution.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the Manager of Business Dev & Segment Marketing to develop a project plan and timeline related to the production of a new process to bring new internet based business partnerships for the client.
• Responsible for the coordination, follow-though, implementation and evaluation of the new online process for partnerships, in collaboration with Licensing, Digital Engagement, Office of the General Council, Finance, Gift Processing and Development.
• Work with the Brand Team to ensure client's brand is licensed in a consistent way building affinity to the organization, adhering to established policies/procedures and brand standards for the partnerships and produce a brand digital benefit package for on-boarding partners.
• Incorporating filters for the assessment of new business opportunities based on brand value, donor data, payment process, scalability and financials.
• Monitor authorized online fundraising programs to determine relationships that have more significant revenue potential and should be elevated for cultivated relationship management by the Development team.
• Close new business opportunities that are submitted and approved via the online process and work with the Development team to establish a platform for monitoring, stewardship and tracking

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required preferably with emphasis on Marketing, Business Development and/or Project Management.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience, specifically in related fields.
• Knowledge of the principles and techniques of fundraising programs, including executing and managing simple fundraising or licensing agreements in a large, chapter-based organization is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with online technology and content management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint required.
