Junior Program Manager

Reporting to the Canadian Partner Incentives Lead, this role will support Partner Business to implement and operationalize the partner incentive portfolio to recognize and reward Partners for driving technology sales and adoption.

 

The ideal candidate will have; a technical background with a focus on business intelligence and reporting, an appreciation for compliance and privacy requirements, and strive for efficiency and automation in their day to day activities.

 

Scope

Working side by side with the Partner Incentives Lead this individual will be responsible for:

  1. Developing detailed understanding of the full Partner Incentives portfolio with the goal of answering ad-hoc questions from internal and external parties regarding incentives programs.
    1. Program details such as;
      1. Earning requirements
      2. Payment cadence and structure
      3. Eligibility requirements
    2. Available tools and reports

 

  1. Ownership of all Partner Incentive onboarding processes
    1. Understand process, tools and requirements
    2. Support field and partners with training and “walk throughs”
    3. Provide regular reporting to PI Lead on progress and outstanding issues
    4. Provide meaningful feedback to global owners to support process and tool improvements

 

  1. Supporting the PI Lead with planning and ongoing business management including;
    1. Providing analysis regarding utilization of incentives portfolio
    2. Assisting Partner Marketing Advisors (PMAs) with understanding usage of Cooperative marketing funds (Coop).
    3. Developing internal and external readiness and training
    4. Maintaining the Partner Incentives SharePoint site

 

  1. Technical Support
    1. Replicating incentive calculations to support local reporting
    2. Managing and maintaining the Incentives database (SQL Server)
      1. Including building and maintaining extract, transform, load (ETL) procedures
    3. Building Power BI models and dashboards

 

  1. Partner Support
    1. Assisting partners with all aspects of incentives
    2. Navigating our business to connect partners with the right resources to address their issues
    3. Providing feedback to support improving partner support processes

 

Skill Sets & Competencies

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Advanced Excel Knowledge (VBA, Pivot Tables, Data Cubes, etc.)
  • Business modelling using Excel and Power BI (e.g. Dashboards and growth models)
  • Experience with SQL (SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio preferred)
  • Experience with SharePoint Online

 

Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills:

  • Able to work with minimal supervision to achieve strategic business outcomes
  • Able to work in a process-driven environment with an understanding of compliance and privacy requirements.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, and with an expectation of timeliness and accuracy

 

Previous Experience Considered an Asset

  • Previous work experience with Business Intelligence and/or Analysis
  • Prior exposure to sales process, licensing and/or channel management
  • Business process documentation and/or modelling
