Become a key contributor in the Mid Market MarCom group for our Round Rock Based technology client.

Position Scope
• Responsible for all Medium Business marcomm execution
• Responsible for creating external marketing communications, to include globally supported copy (i.e. subject line, mobile preheader, merchandising text, product descriptions), imagery selection, legal copy inclusion, inputting promos and bundles and checking to confirm overall creative look and feel is on-brand and accurate
• Marcomm execution covers both direct mail and email
• Note: that once this individual shows mastery of the above, there are a lot of stretch projects they would be able to take on from the senior level role

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all Medium Business marcomm execution
• Responsible for creating external marketing communications, to include globally supported copy (i.e. subject line, mobile preheader, merchandising text, product descriptions), imagery selection, legal copy inclusion, inputting promos and bundles and checking to confirm overall creative look and feel is on-brand and accurate
• Responsible for marcomm roadmap execution covers both direct mail and email
• Create, develop and implement product, merchandising and Promotional strategies
• Drive demand, Revenue and Margin for all End User Computing and Servers Line of Business targeting different segments within the Inside Sales Organization

Key Activities:
• Coordinates with the production, marketing execution, and product teams
• Create Promotional Campaigns with Upsell Strategies
• Applies a thoughtful combination of marketing levers (price, positioning, and promotion) to drive, demand, Revenue and Margin
• Owns developing the right message to focus on the correct customer segmentation. Building offers that are relevant to the target audience
• Create and implement cross route to market plans that maximize Company and its Partners growth and Profitability
• Takes necessary actions to manage short and mid-term stock levels
• Lead Cross functional and cross regional teams to create tailored plans for different regions and segments in Canada
• Monitors slow sellers, and takes action to impact run rates via price reductions and/or other demand-driving activities as necessary
• Supports content development of marketing collaterals such as training, product catalogues/brochures as subject matter product knowledge specialist
• Drives the top and bottom line and optimizes all aspects of the portfolio P&L by delivering smart assortment, managing in-stocks, driving continual channel improvements and delivering the best customer experience
• Applies deep understanding of customers’ needs, the product and the competitive landscape
• Develops and champions assortment vision and strategy, product roadmap and launches in support of corporate goals and objectives

Ideal candidate skill sets:
• Expertise in creative skills – grammar, copy, graphical elements, brand perception building. While we use an internal agency for creative, this person needs to understand how creative elements fit together to make a compelling marketing piece
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Marcomm planning and/or execution
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
• Contributes new ideas
• Understand how to execute and further refine a process
• Uses customer & market research, customer and user feedback, customer usage/segmentation and competitive analysis to inform assortment decisions and enhancements
