Junior Marketing Coordinator

Our client, a prestigious insurance company with global presence is seeking a Marketing Coordinator! This is a great opportunity for recent marketing grads to get started with a great company!

Job Functions:

 Assist marketing managers/strategists to both effectively and efficiently produce marketing materials for channel initiatives, including, but not limited to: flyers, banner ads, email, social media posts, training decks, and interactive marketing tools.

 Learn to write effective creative briefs, and work with internal creative agency to complete projects requiring creative development.

 Support marketing strategy and plans for new business development, trade shows, travel agents, travel agents’ customers, and national retail accounts.

 Track effectiveness of marketing campaigns by partnering with internal parties or utilizing software to generate performance reports, helping to make best practice recommendations.

 Document processes and procedures from a marketing and strategy standpoint to codify and streamline team workflow (strategic planning, marketing plans and project development).

 Maintain a strong knowledge of our products and competitors’ products, and stays up to date on the global travel industry to help us compete effectively in the marketplace.

 Proactively seek opportunities to increase marketing effectiveness through independent market research, gathering account feedback, and critically assessing current initiatives.

 May perform other duties as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; graduate degree a plus.

 One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in an account marketing role, either at ad/marketing agency or on client-side, is preferred.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Powerpoint, Word & Excel. Knowledge of project management (Workfront), email marketing (Silverpop) and sales software (Salesforce) is preferred, and/or ability to quickly learn and utilize proficiently.

 Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.

 Time management and project management skills – this is both a deadline and results-driven role.

 Analytical skills to measure and report performance and convey recommendations clearly.

 Both B2B and B2C marketing experience helpful.

 Self-motivated and goal-oriented; able to work in fast-paced environment that is highly productive and constantly evolving its role in the larger organization.

 Position is routinely expected to travel less than 5% of time.
