Junior Marketing Coordinator

Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Salary: $36K + 10% annual bonus (for first 3 months)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 4 days a week (increase to 5 days after 3 months)
Location: Richmond Hill (Leslie & HWY 7)

The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting all marketing functions for this non-profit organizations 5 divisions. In addition, the role is responsible for all traditional, digital, and online marketing to increase brand awareness while developing strategies to drive sales, and managing relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management
• Managing direct marketing programs for divisions, including program recommendations and project execution.
• Monitoring progress of Marketing initiatives and projects to ensure timely, accurate delivery of service.
• Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Conducting competitive research.
• Plan, execute and gain approval for the Divisions’ best marketing approach within brand, budget and strategy
• Assisting in the generation of presentations, RFP reports, and any other Marketing related reports based on the divisions discretion.
• Developing creative briefs, managing development and execution of creative concepts and content.
• Reviewing and approving specifications, samples, and proofs with the Division Head or General Manager before moving forward.
• Writing newsletters, direct mail pieces and reviewing/proofing any written content set out by the organization.

Qualifications
• Post-Secondary education; University or College Diploma preferred in Marketing,
• 2 years of related work experience (including internships)
• Strong practical experience with Adobe Creative Suite – PC platform
• Strong results-driven orientation, organized, highly motivated with a high level of energy/high sense of urgency.
• Proficiency with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques and tactics, as they relate to website content and structure.
• Experience with online and interactive marketing strategies.
• Proven experience with creating a social media strategy and presence.
• Excellent analytical, project management and execution skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
