Basic Qualifications
My client is seeking an entry level Marketing Assistant who is a recent grad or pursuing a minimum of a four-year degree with communications-related course work: Communications, English / Journalism, Media Studies, Digital Media, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing. Candidates must have a passion for Communications and strong communication skills.

In addition to basic qualifications, candidates should posses the following:
• Ability to effectively multi-task and re-prioritize accordingly
• Clear thinker, with ability to quickly translate abstract thoughts into succinct communications
• Strong writer with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Possesses execution skills, consistently meeting deadlines with strong sense of accountability
• Possesses presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience with visual communications and associated tools of trade (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver/HTML, etc.) is highly desired
• Working knowledge of HTML email & website content management systems (ECS, Word Press, Constant Contact, Peer360, etc) a plus

Essential Responsibilities:

Support Communications team (including Corporate Citizenship) in their efforts to facilitate employee engagement through creation & development of various campaigns/vehicles. Specific projects include:

• Serving as editor of weekly Norwalk Update (communication for ~1K employees). Includes the management of multiple submissions and editing/copy origination
• Creating and managing digital signage for Norwalk site
• Writing copy for and making updates to various internal portals as well as the intranet site
• Assisting on HealthAhead initiative, including preparing bi-monthly email, digital signage and other communications
• Serving as integral member of Corporate Citizenship signature program planning teams. Duties include idea creation/generation for launch and general writing of communications materials for company-wide distribution
• Providing support to Organizational Communications COE, as needed
