Our leading financial services organization in New York City is looking for Junior Marketing Research Analyst to join a growing internal Market Intelligence team. The Market Research Analyst is principally responsible for developing key components of projects and/or completely managing less complex studies or tracking studies to facilitate progress. To build skills, the Analyst will “float” serving a number of research teams, business & functions and project types. A key goal is to develop sophistication about our company and develop research skills.
ResponsibilitiesHelp to set up & manage samples, recruit participants for focus groups, manage focus group rooms and client needsManage ongoing tracking studies and help to develop new studies with supervision.Expert at developing electronic surveys, cross-tab & data runs, setting up PowerPoint tables & chartsSupport senior staff as needed, responding to analysis-related questions Communicate with vendors at direction of senior staffYou will document best practices and processes
Requirements3-5 years experience in the custom Market Research industryValue vendor side or industry experienceSupplier side experience is helpful but not mandatoryStrong sampling experience is a mustExperience designing and drafting surveysStrong analytic and critical thinking skillsExpertise with Excel, PowerPoint, survey software and SPSS/SASExperience with Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc. is critical
