THIS IS A HOT HOT HOT OPPORTUNITY!

Our client, a leading international financial services organizations is looking for an ambitious Junior Interactive Designer.
As a member of the Digital Marketing team, the Junior Interactive Designer supports the initiatives of the department and the Manager to whom he or she reports.

This is a critical role to the success of organizations online applications. He/She is responsible for managing production projects and liaising with other members of the Site Management team and counterparts on the Client Management and Technology teams to ensure end-user satisfaction. First and foremost, dependability and maintaining a good attitude and strong work ethic are integral components of this position.

This role requires a high level of performance with attention to detail and quality of work while meeting deadlines and multi-tasking. Candidate must be a self-starter that can perform in a team environment. This is a hybrid role for someone who has had exposure and experience in both the web design (information architecture) as well as the front end development of web sites. The suitable candidate has a core focus on designing user experiences by leveraging current day and best of breed concepts.

Responsibilities



  • Collaboration with Marketing Communications and editorial staff in all aspects of planning, developing, implementing and
    maintaining digital communication across the firm’s internal and external online applications including Social Media and e-
    newsletters.

  • Translate print based communication to online and other digital media presentation channels that leverage best practices in usability.

  • Responsible for front end coding of html layouts and templates that adhere to the corporate branding style guidelines

  • Responsible for email production which includes content layout and html configuration.


  • Basic Requirement



  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree and 3 years of related experience.

  • 3-5 years experience in web design and development of internal and public facing sites.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills

  • Ability to build and edit templates within a CMS environment

  • Ability to complete work in a time-sensitive environment with competing and fluid priorities

  • Ability to work in a self-directed team environment utilizing strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to participate in a project team (that may consist of business users, consultants and other development staff)

  • Works well under deadline, pays strict attention to detail, and performs quality assurance testing before publishing.
