Junior Graphic Designer (Print/Visual Design)

A global luxury skincare brand is looking to bring on a Graphic Designer to their U.S. Marketing/Creative Team. This is a long-term contract position as a W2 Hourly Employee receiving health benefits, 401K and paid sick days.

Responsibilities
• Drive and maintain brand consistency. Assist in concept and mock-ups for all marketing materials, digital assets and in store design
• Design seasonal marketing books, small advertisements, flyers, collateral
• Create design direction and consistent brand messaging across all assets from training material, to product guides to promotional items for the sales field
• Release mechanicals, package files for print, work with purchasing & development to ensure delivery of all assets in a timely matter
• Ability to develop digital assets and basic web/email
• Partner with Global team to ensure global direction is followed, seek approval on projects as needed
• Work with marketing team to manage project workload and prioritize creative needs
• Maintain in-house archive of images (product photography, past projects, etc.). Keep files organized on server for easy retrieval

Requirements
• Up to 1 year of graphic design experience for print, graphics for packaging and visual design in digitla
• Must have a design portfolio that shows a clean and minimalistic aesthetic
• Experience designing for a skincare, cosmetics or pharmaceutical brand would be a plus
• Must be proficient in Creative Suite (InDesign. Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Must be very detail oriented and able to handle production design (follow briefs)
• Must be a self-starter and proactive
