Position- Junior Event Coordinator
Location-Norwood, MA
Domestic travel required (MA and Las Vegas, NV)
Start date and duration-September 6-January 30 with possible extension
Work is to be done onsite. Remote is not an option. Travel required

Hourly pay rate range- $20-24hr

Our client is a leader in the semiconductor industry and they've asked for our help identifying candidates for this JUNIOR EVENT COORDINATOR position. In this role you will work onsite in Norwood, MA. You will be asked to travel to events within the greater Boston area and you'll attend the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January. This position will range from 20 hours per week to 40+ hours per week. Each week is different and so are the hours required. This role is best for someone with just a few years of event coordination experience. You'll get your hands dirty doing a variety of tasks including building event registration lists, coordinating hotel, food, beverage, collateral, trade show booths, and shipping boxes of swag all over the US. No divas here please... if you're not comfortable wearing old jeans and sneakers while crawling on the floor looking for electrical outlets, then this is not the right job for you.

You must have a car in order to travel to events and trade shows in the greater Boston area. You'll also have the unique opportunity to work on one of the world's largest trade shows, CES! You'll travel to Las Vegas to help put on CES.

B2B Tradeshow Event Management & Marketing Assistant


• Primary internal liaison for trade show execution for internal and external resources
• Securing booth location and ensuring all aspects of contract sponsorship are achieved
• Coordination and management of onsite vendors
o Booth set up consultant
o Display Works
o Transportation
• Shipping and Logistics
o In accordance with timelines and budget
• Management of event-specific budgets
o Approvals and processing of invoices
o Reporting to Event Manager
• Management of trade show booth schedule and staffing
• Management of Speaker’s panel
o Coordination of practice schedules
o On site contact
o Consolidation and cleanup of final PowerPoint presentation
o Speaker’s gifts coordination
• Coordination of employee staff and booth staffing
• Manage meetings with team to review event schedules and sales-related deliverables
• Registration of attendees to conference and trade shows in accordance to allocated budget
• Management of Membership Roster
• Inventory, tracking and ordering of trade show assets
o Including marketing collateral, giveaways and booths
o Ordering and maintaining supplies of sales collateral in accordance to collateral budget
o Working with booth storage to ensure items are in good condition, repairs made if needed.
• Develop booth schedules for:
o Vendors, Sales, Booth Staff, Management, Speakers, Partners
• Trade show & Event Printing
o Ordering of booth swag
o Tchotchke and grand prize giveaways
o Manage to a timeline and budget and ensure they within the tradeshow rules
• Coordination of In-booth promotions
o Signage for giveaways, panel, new product launches
o Video loop updates
o Update prize rules with legal
o Work with Event Manager to update collateral
o Work with legal to ensure all guidelines are met
• Data entry as needed in support of tradeshow events including:
• Compiling tradeshow marketing leads for email marketing database
• Tradeshow Communication Support
o Working with Event Manager execute on pre and post conference email and direct mail campaigns
• Tradeshow Recaps & Lessons Learned: For team and management review

You will be required to travel 5-10 minutes down the road to a storage facility to get boxes of swag on a regular basis.
This position requires lifting/moving boxes
