Junior Digital Designer – Online banners and display advertising

0 people like this description

This is a very exciting role for a digital designer who has a year or two under their belt and ready to work in a great team.

Our client, a specialist brand and marketing company, managing a range of licensed sporting brands is looking to add a couple of digital designers to their marketing team.

What we’re looking for:
You are a talented designer who understands how to make merchandise stand out from the clutter. You can prioritise your own workflow and manage multiple projects with some conflicting deadlines. You have a strong understanding of digital and online requirements and are able to produce pixel perfect designs. Your experience in HTML and CSS would be a distinct advantage.

The team:
This environment isn’t a typical design agency, it’s a buzzing sports-merchandise marketing department. You’ll be working amongst a team of young, energetic achievers who love their sport and enjoy socializing together. The team works hard and they’re rewarded well for their achievements. The company culture is collaborative and supportive and there are members who’ve been with the team for several years. Being in the sporting industry, at times tickets for top games do float around the office – so if you love live sports, this is the space for you.

The role:
Digital design across a wide range of display advertising, banners and tiles producing artwork from supplied content and creating eye-catching designs. The design team, which sits with marketing is small and the designers are required to traffic their own workflow. It’s important that the digital designer is able to set priorities and meet very tight deadlines.

- At least 1 -2 years experience designing eye-catching marketing material
- A strong digital portfolio demonstrating banners and display advertising
- Speed, accuracy and loads of energy
- A keen interest in sport would be a benefit, but it’s not essential
- Proficient in Adobe CS – Photoshop & Illustrator

If this sounds like you, and you’re ready to join a dynamic and growing team then send your CV and folio across to Sandra at Firebrand.

Quick note – just to check you can read a brief please ensure the portfolio you send across shows digital designs for online
