A fintech company that is on the lookout for a self-starter designer who can commit 10-20 hours a week. This role would be on-site, but after an approx month, could be completed from home. 


The Opportunity: 

Seeking a visual designer to join our fast-paced team in our New York City office located in the Flatiron District. As a Visual Marketing Design Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Content & Communications and our SVP of Partnership and Distribution, to design and execute creative projects for all digital and print marketing campaigns across all channels of the business. You are a passionate, enthusiastic, creative professional ready to roll up your sleeves and make a significant contribution.


You must have a strong understanding of how design fits into B2B marketing concepts, including demand-generation campaigns, email design/production, landing pages, CTAs, long-form content (e-books/journals), webinar design, banner ad design, and Slideshare/PowerPoint presentations. Experience with in-house production and a love for design and marketing is essential. 



Support the marketing team in design and execution of graphical assets 

Conceptualize, design and deliver creative refreshes that meet our marketing objectives 

Work with various members of different teams to ensure quality and timely delivery 

Demonstrate foresight by understanding emerging tools, technology and business practices for the digital medium, and learn the application of these tools and practices 

Design all print and digital marketing communications materials, including but not limited to: landing page assets, banner ads, promotional marketing emails, direct mail letters, print advertisements, company brochures, video assets, logos, and more 

Work closely with Marketing and Acquisition to design, implement, and ship deliverables for both Content Marketing and Product Marketing to align with our campaigns and content schedules 

Lead each step of design projects with input and feedback from colleagues: ideation, iteration, production, etc. 

Manage brand ID system and unique experience guidelines (icons, wordmark, logo anatomy, variations, backgrounds, clear space, minimum size, incorrect uses, etc.) 

Develop presentation decks, slides and graphics for speaking engagements and meetings with key stakeholders, including potential investors, partners, and media 

Design engaging event collateral including programs, signage, splash pages, presentation slides and handouts 

Use survey data to create compelling infographics 

Have high visibility to senior executives in a rapidly growing company, as well as the liberty and freedom to recommend and implement process improvements in a growing business
