Junior Content Writer/Communications Specialist

A forward-thinking Fortune 500 ‘luxury brand’ financial service and credit card company is in need of a freelance Junior Content Writer/Communications Specialist to join their team. This role is onsite, 40 hours a week, until Dec. 2018 with the opportunity to extend. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door to one of the best and iconic brands.

What You Will Do:

  • In this highly visible role, you will support development and delivery of standard communication documents (RFI/RFP library responses and presentation slides) and sales content material
  • Research product information and details across multiple/various global owners by building relationships with key business partners 
  • Identify and utilize best practices and leveraging the Value Proposition to differentiate the financial product offering 
  • Edit existing content, create new content from scratch, and proposing additional content that may be required by the end user and review past RFP responses to gather material that may be beneficial to be leveraged as part of the RFP Library of standard content 

What You Need:

  • 2+ years of experience and demonstrated strengths in producing compelling, professional, and customized client-facing messaging focused on winning or retaining business 
  • Experience analyzing and synthesizing information to create value proposition messages 
  • Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills, including proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat 
  • Strong understanding of financial services industry and/or the commercial card or e-payables space 
  • Proven ability to drive results working independently and as part of a team
  • Effective project and time management skills 
  • Strategic proposal writing experience a plus 
  • Role may require flexibility with early morning or evening conference calls. 
  • Ideal candidate will have the following experience: Project Management, Financial Industry, Consulting, and Writing
