Junior Bid Designer

The Junior Bid Designer will sit within our client's Group Sales team as part of the Head Office. This is a strategic role in which you will be working on high profile opportunities. The purpose of the Junior Bid Design role is to work initially within the Utilities sector where the business has a growing presence, but will be expected to help where possible across all sectors. Regardless of which sector they are working in they will be a part of the Bid Design team.

The Junior Bid Designer is tasked with the creation of engaging, innovative and effective materials to help the client win significant market opportunities. These include presentation, submission, workshop, and dialogue materials for big ticket opportunities that are high priority deals for the its Board, and tend to be upwards of £100m in value. You will be required to work to unmovable deadlines, occasionally at short notice, in order to provide expertise to deals of high strategic importance to the business.
The Junior Bid Designer will work closely with stakeholders across a range of dynamic teams, to understand what they’re trying to communicate, often through creative facilitation techniques. They will then bring to bear their graphic and information design ability to develop multimedia collateral that combines form and function to deliver great impact and ultimately win bids. This requires knowledge of marketing and communication as well as design knowledge.

The right candidate will have a graphic design qualification, limitless ideas, and boundless enthusiasm for new technologies.
