Junior Ad Operations Coordinator (Online Ad Traffic Coordinator)

Handles ad serving operational aspects of online advertising for various client websites and eNewsletters, including creative trafficking, troubleshooting issues and prioritizing daily workflow to ensure that advertising revenue is maximized. Responsible for content management for native ad programs.

Responsibilities:

Implementing and ongoing monitoring of online ad trafficking using AppNexus/OAS 24/7 Real Media and/or Exact Target including: request/receipt of advertising creative, creative testing, creative upload, targeting, applying rich media templates/rules, prioritization and targeting.
Work with agencies, advertisers, sales, solutions vendors, or internal teams regarding any creative, trafficking or reporting issues.
Campaign Management duties, including: 3rd party reporting verification/validation and auditing of targeting for both national and regional campaigns. Works with Supervisor to help maintain third party reporting verification, ensuring third party campaigns are running and tracking accurately.
Work closely with other Ad Operations teams regarding the development of new and revised ad products.
Participates in process development and optimization for the Traffic team.
Maintain strong working relationships with the sales, product and ad ops teams, keeping them apprised of any issues or anomalies that impact business.
Reviews various trafficking reports looking for potential issues, to correct potential issues; discussing with team or management as needed.
Interact directly with new and existing customers, using judgment and discretion on how to best resolve issues.

Qualifications

- Minimum of one year online ad trafficking experience using an ad server.
- Familiarity with the various forms of online creative formats preferable (html, java, flash, rich media, etc.)
- Proactive, with excellent attention to detail and good follow-thru abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Experience with various 3rd party rich media advertisers and ad serving systems.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient personal computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Enjoy an ever-changing landscape and growing responsibilities.
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
- Ability to manage tasks on a tight deadline and be able to handle multiple projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Experience with AppNexus/OAS 24/7 Real Media.
- Experience with Exact Target/Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Ability to recommend improvements in trafficking, QA and 3rd party troubleshooting processes.
- Understanding publisher ad tags.
