JR. WEB CONTENT DEVELOPER
LOCATION: San Francisco
CONTRACT: 1 Year | M-F | 40 hrs/week
PAY: $22-$27/hour (Based on experience)

A world-renowned Retail Company with an award winning eCommerce division is in need of a super awesome Web Content Developer to join their team!

This team is on the hunt for a confident, adventurous, soulful, fun-loving, high-performing and service-oriented individual who also can offer technical excellence. This individual also needs to be the kind to embrace an ever-changing environment and project!

THE POSITION:
This position supports the brand production team by coding, deploying and modifying marketing content to the site. Specific daily duties will include:

• HTML 4/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript development and site production (hand code)
• Creation of HTML 4/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript templates for online marketing initiatives
• Maintenance of HTML 4/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript for existing web sites
• Troubleshoot coding issues and bugs
• Asset Management
• Collaborate with Design team to incorporate visual design into functional web pages.
• Form and work in close partnerships with other Web Content Developers, brand production teams and brand web design

THIS SUPER AWESOME CANDIDATE SHOULD BE:
• Fluent in HTML 4/XHTML versions through 5.0 (including forms, frames, complex tables, meta tags)
• Proficient with cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to include CSS positioning and table-less layouts, CSS 3 experience preferred
• Proficient in use of jQuery or Prototype JavaScript libraries
• Have the ability to program and troubleshoot JavaScript code and client-side image maps
• Familiar with SEO compliancy
• Proficient in Web production tools
• Proficient with cross-platform and browser compatibility issues
• Technically proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Have the ability to turn around project quickly and efficiently
• Have the ability to excel in a team environment
• Have demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
• 2 years of college or equivalent experience
• 2 years minimum web site production and programming experience
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have Ecommerce site development (preferred)
• User Interface design background preferred
