Jr. Traffic Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Traffic Manager is a full-time position in the Creative Services Department. Requires superior
organization skills and design knowledge along with excellent team management skills. The ideal
candidate must possess the ability to manage and traffic all edits and correspondence between the
Creative Department and applicable departments working with the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strong communication skills
• Manage day-to-day workflow for graphic designers
• Utilizes Workamajig as a tool to track tasks for each designer
• Manages the department timeline for projects and assignments to ensure all deliverables are
sent based on the agreed project timelines
• Organizes all edits for design elements – corresponds directly with Client Services and
Production during the live project phase and Business Development during the proposal
phase
• Works closely with budget management regarding hours tracked to specific jobs to ensure
that we are never exceeding estimated design hours
• Create hierarchy for design priorities based on deliverable schedules
• Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure work is delegated to the best designer for
that specific assignment along with their current workload

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 3-5 years in a similar Traffic or Project Management role
• Knowledge of Workamajig or similar project management software
• Experience working directly with graphic designers and account managers
• Knowledge of the Adobe Suite functions and general design language
• An understanding of what is required for graphic design, web design, packaging,
presentations, event/tradeshow materials, environmental graphics and various print collateral
