Jr. Retail Vendor Manager I / Online Merchandiser

We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic Associate Vendor Manager in Dallas Texas. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn the buying function and e-commerce business from an experienced team. The Associate Vendor Manager will leverage strong project management skills. You will be given the opportunity to manage customer-facing detail page content, manage tasking and building of events and components building up to the event, and drive process improvements for the entire team.

A successful candidate for the position will:
- Maintain key systems information, including new item set up, supplier administration, product details and prices
- Dive into data on seasonality and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments
- Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of site features that provide Woot customers the most addictive shopping experience
- Provide ad hoc and regular online content management, reporting, and analysis to help decision making, such as: vendor set up, wholesale reporting, performance analysis, etc.
- Have a natural affinity for project management
- Be motivated by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where every idea is heard
- Is willing to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Will be intellectually curious, have a goal-oriented approach
- Be a great communicator, with a keen understanding of customer needs (as well as corny jokes)
- Ensure issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner

Team culture is collaborative, highly communicative, fun, willing to train and coach, easy to work with, and a positive dynamic. Each team member is expected to be obsessed with their customers and exhibit ownership of all tasks and duties within respective realms of responsibility. The team is super helpful with questions, but operate under the philosophy that each team member carries their own load.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-partner with Vendor Managers ("buyers") on the fashion accessories buying team to provide ongoing administrative and project support after buyers close deals
-follow established project tasks such as event creation, data entry and manipulation in Excel, coordinating between the buyer, the vendor company, photo studios, etc

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from accredited school
Solid working experience using Excel (including skills beyond simple spreadsheets, such as Vlookup, creation and/or navigation in Pivot tables)
