Jr. Marketing Associate (PT)

Job Summary The Direct Marketing Contractor/Specialist for the Print Marketing team is responsible for executing the day-to-day operational elements of Print marketing campaign activity to support direct mail and catalog programs. The Contract Direct Marketing Specialist will have the opportunity to work on projects that will provide exposure to the fundamental elements of DM and catalog in addition to developing a core understanding of Marketing success metrics within the customer lifecycle.


1. Marketing Campaign Execution Support
• Support campaign execution elements such as coupon set-up, PDB coupon associations and coupon testing
• Review creative proofs, through all stages of proofing.
• Compile and run all weekly DM and Catalog campaign reporting
• Provide additional campaign execution support as needed/upon request
2. Project Management
• Provide project management support on tactics and execution of additional direct mail campaign initiatives
• Responsible for providing feedback and proofing materials
• Communicate campaign priorities across cross-functional team players (Category Marketing, Agency, Circulation, Merchandising, Production, Finance)

• Responsible for flawless and timely review/feedback of all proofs
• Responsible for 100% accuracy of campaign reports generated, coupons created and tested•
Innovation and Change (i.e. improvements to procedures, services, or products, as well as development of new ideas, methods, techniques, services and products)
• Help in identifying ways to streamline current process and participate in all appropriate Team Meetings for Print (Agency WIPS, Circulation, etc)

Internal & External Customers / Suppliers as well as Third Parties (i.e. include level or job title of customer relationship and the nature of the customer relationship management and service delivery)
• Direct impact on external customers (customer facing DM campaigns)
• Direct impact on internal customers (marketing, stores, Rewards, etc.)


KPIs– Key Performance Indicators (i.e. how is success defined in this role?)
• Flawless execution
• Job function executed with independence and limited oversight
• Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems which are moderate to complex. The “what” is clearly stated, but the “how” is largely determined by the Contractor’s judgment with Manager’s input

Education/Experience Equivalent (minimum requirements)
• BA or BS Degree
• 1-2 years relevant experience, could include internships or co-ops
