Jr. Manager of Digital Production

Vitamin T has an EXCITING opportunity for a Jr. Manager of Digital Production with one of our clients in Dallas, TX.

Only local candidates and those who do not require sponsorship to work in the United States will be considered for this position.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Basic front-end and back-end development on agency and select client sites 
  • Google AdWords and Analytics implementation and management for select clients 
  • Manage/train clients on digital analytics and setup (as needed) 
  • Build site maps and wireframes to be sent out for development quotes 
  • Work with design team in construction of template page designs for websites 
  • Organize design files for release to development 
  • Assist with technical support and QC ticket submission and review 
  • Simple web graphic design tweaks (adding button, banners, etc.) 
  • Regular upload and formatting of blog and digital pub content 
  • Select, resize and optimize images for web use 
  • QC articles after they go live on blogs 
  • Assist as needed with loading email template content 
  • Troubleshoot minor WordPress, or other agency technology, issues 
  • Animation projects for presentations, e-cards etc. (as needed) 
  • Video editing and audio recording (as needed) 
  • Keep informed of, and update agency resources as needed on, marketplace and technology trends useful to either the agency or its clients 
  • Standardizing, storing, and management of all necessary digital Production documents, as well as the server folders they are kept on 
  • Daily check-ins with editorial, art, and account service staffs on and departmental and project needs 
  • Construction of weekly reports, provided to the Director, on all digital Production work, for the purpose of informed forecasting and time optimization 
  • Exceptional personnel management in the pursuit of seamless project process/completion and a team-first, cooperative agency environment 

Additional print needs: 

  • Pre-press for client print publication advertisements 
  • Line production work (copy flow and image placement) for applicable print publications 
  • Inputting and accepting of editorial changes for applicable print publications 
  • Outputting and circulation of laser and color proof process/schedule for applicable print publications 
  • Pre-press, file management, and file upload for applicable print publications 
  • Press check (when possible) for applicable print publications 
  • Creation, approval, and distribution of digital-use PDFs of print publications for applicable client needs 
  • Inputting of content and inputting/accepting of editorial changes for client and agency email newsletters 
  • Outputting and circulation of proofing process for client and agency email newsletters 

Job Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of agency or media experience in design and/or production 
  • Bachelor’s degree in programming, design, advertising, or related field 
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and/or CSS 
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and InDesign, as well as various other media products (GarageBand, etc.) 
  • Experience in WordPress management and content posting 
  • Diversified work portfolio, preferably with examples of web development 
  • Experience in traditional print production, including copy flow, image treatment, and pre-press (preferred) 
  • Excellent people management skills, across all personality types
