Jr. Interaction Designer

As a Jr. Interaction Designer, you will shape the future of our products by helping to define fun and engaging experiences for customers. You will work with the design team through all phases of the project and be responsible for creation and maintenance of detailed UI flows and documentation, negotiating design-related requirements and playing an active role throughout the development process.

The Jr. Interaction Designer must have solid understanding UI/UX & interaction patterns and principles, excellent writing skills and be able to communicate clearly and concisely through UI documentation formats. You'll work closely with Interaction and Visual Designers, Engineering, Product Management and regional stakeholders located around the world throughout all stages of the product cycle.

Qualifications:
• Thorough, precise, and collaborative
• Ability to concept and document complex flows with a keen attention to detail
• Deep understanding of the SW application development
• Keen interest in interaction design and creative process

Requirements:
• Strong portfolio demonstrating SW engineering and its documentation knowledge
• Minimum Bachelors degree in engineer or digital media design related field with SW engineering and/or UI flow documentation experience
• Must be able to understand the high-level interaction design concept, and turn it into detailed UI flow required by the development team
• Be thorough in identifying all the necessary use cases and document the flow and text strings in detail
• Ensure that the interaction design is executed correctly during the development process
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Expertise using Microsoft Office, Visio and/or other UI flow spec software
• Should be self-motivated, highly organized, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
• Must be able to work at our client’s SF office 5 days a week

Additional Requirements:
• In depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other emerging internet application technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with the agile software development process is a plus
• Prior experience working within a design environment is a plus
• Experience of UI spec creation for a global audience in multiple languages is a plus
• Knowledge of movie, music, and video game service and software industries is a plus
