Working with a new client who is looking for a Junior Front End Developer / Content Editor. We need this person ASAP

This is a very junior role, not highly technical. Proficient with HTML. Talent will be updating and creating HTML pages, mainly internal stuff. Sharepoint micro sites, custom emails, etc. Also some exposure to the public facing site on the program, utilizing their own CMS.


The Web Developer will be responsible for supporting the various business stakeholders (e.g. Internal Communications) who have a presence and produce content on the corporate intranet. The Web Developer is responsible for supporting a variety of web technology projects which support various business-led communications initiates.

Their primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• developing or editing new or existing web pages.
• uploading and integrating related multimedia web content.
• developing and implementing functionality enhancements.
• adherence to information architecture, UX and brand guidelines.
• providing quality assurance, troubleshooting, production support as necessary.

Full-time Position (~40 Hours per week) consisting of:
• Web Development, Content Management and Publishing Support: 80%
• Multimedia and UX Development: 10%
• Direct Client Interaction and Support: 10%

Undergraduate degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience supporting websites.

• Minimum of two years of web design and/or web/multimedia development.
• Working knowledge of web publishing infrastructure—Unix-based web servers preferred.
• Experience supporting an enterprise class website—intranet preferred.
• Experience developing web content within a content management system—HP/Interwoven Teamsite a plus.
• Strong communications, client-service and collaborative skills.
• Effective project/time management skills.
• Must have ability to multitask and deliver against a series of deadlines.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic Web development/production technologies/tools including HTML, CSS, and image editing software (Photoshop).
• Experience with JavaScript, Adobe Flash or XML is a plus.
