JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Modeling content requirements for the most efficient and strategic use the content platforms and systems
  • Providing detailed documentation and use policies for content platforms and systems
  • Providing support and training for global content entry personnel and entering content as needed
  • Creating content maintenance plans and documentation so content entry tasks can be quickly assigned to the most appropriate and/or low cost centers
  • Developing dynamic prototypes of future features, functionality and designs to demonstrate eCommerce requirements and needs to marketing and engineering partners.
  • Creating project work plans and managing the work of content managers supporting specific initiatives
  • Developing strategic relationships with Product Owners
  • Working with external vendors that support product and content needs
  • Constructs new web pages and maintains current content using the WEM CMS publishing templates, based on collaboration with Content Strategists, Stakeholders, Information Architects and Designers
  • Performs content development tasks including the creation of the system content project hierarchy, content type definitions (modeling), and the site/channel hierarchy
  • Identifies content modeling needs for each of new projects based on business objectives, user feedback, reporting analysis, and industry trends
  • Collaborates with the engineering and eCommerce product teams to engineer the best Content Management solutions for each new initiative, including the use of new WEM and Endeca functionality, e.g., the personalization engine, message resources and business rules
  • Communicates effectively on product teams to successfully launch website initiatives
  • Guides in the research, analysis, and monitoring of the content management product, new partnerships, and customer needs to capitalize on market opportunities
  • Creates project-specific work plans that include impact analysis, milestones, resource identification and work allocation
  • Creates and manages digital assets within respective area of the site as needed to support marketing and communication objectives
  • Troubleshoots content configuration related issues
  • Acts as liaison between the User Experience and Information Resources departments to define and implement assets and functionality
  • Establishes and strengthens relationships with distributed authors and content owners
  • Provides training and assistance on best practices when using the WEM CMS to support our distributed authors located in other departments, sales regions or our partnered agencies throughout the world
  • Creates training material and updates site documentation as warranted by new development on the site
  • Mentors junior content managers for skill development and career growth
  • Establishes and strengthens relationships with Product Teams and Stakeholders
