Our Client, a marketing agency, is looking for a Jr. Copywriter that is obsessed with the diverse subcultures of young people and wants to inspire them to live healthier lives. S/he should be a chameleon on paper, flawlessly switching between brand voices for subcultures like hip-hop, hipster, and gay/lesbian. Corporate robots need not apply. We want your slang, your personality and your passion to bring our youthful brands to life across new and old media alike. The Jr. Copywriter is responsible for conception, presentation, and execution of video, digital, social, and web copy across a diverse portfolio of highly targeted behavior change brands. At times, the Copywriter will lead other writers and interns on assignments to contribute to a variety of campaigns. The Copywriter must will have experience creating actionable and relevant video, digital media, website and social content, as well as a thorough understanding of social media, digital content marketing, search engine optimization and how they work in concert to drive engagement and behavior change. The Copywriter will own, hone, and maintain the brand personality and voice across the entire campaign for each assignment. The ideal candidate thinks beyond words and is able to concept and execute strategically against all aspects of a campaign ecosystem with a primary focus on digital. The Copywriter reports to the Sr. Creative Director of Ideation, works closely with the Integrated Marketing Strategies department and shares responsibility for the success of our campaigns in the video, web, digital and social space. The job of the Senior Copywriter entails activities pertaining to, but not limited to: -----Roles and Responsibilities: Help conceive, craft, and execute great ideas on time and on strategy; Share thoughts, ideas, and inspiration; Create a range of ideas and copy that supports the campaign or main messages; Participate in brainstorms, ideation, and team meetings; Participate in client and internal presentations—sharing concepts and ideas with excitement, conviction, and excellent articulation; Deliver amazing work—even with tight turnarounds and pressure; Create copy specific to current social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and YouTube; Develop copy that adheres to best practices found in both paid social and paid digital; Other duties as required.
