Our top Fortune 500 Live Events client is seeking a Copywriter/Editor to join their Content team in the Marketing Department. The ideal candidate will write concise and creative copy for event, performer and category descriptions. QA for copy submitted by vendors and other sources as well as contributing other marketing copy, as needed.

Candidates should be well-versed in the music, sports or arts events landscape and familiar with best practices for online copywriting. This position requires the ability to quickly research and write about a variety of topics. Knowledge of AP Style and excellent spelling and grammar is essential.

The copywriter is expected to quickly and efficiently write new copy, edit existing copy and manage quality assurance with vendor and submitted copy. The successful candidate will primarily support SEO initiatives and assist with other copywriting needs on a per-project basis.

Responsibilities:

Consistently write copy that meets defined project objectives for content initiatives.

Support Studio Team, as necessary, and have limited responsibility for contributing to other projects.

Requirements:
-Professional writing experience
-Excellent writing, editing and research skills
-Excellent knowledge of AP Style
-An understanding of the sports, music and arts events landscape
-At least a basic knowledge of SEO copywriting strategies
-Interactive/web writing background
-The ability to develop copy that supports objectives
-Must be a fast self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
