Jr. Content Strategist/ Copywriter

CORE FUNCTION
The foundation of the Creative Strategy team lies in creative concept work and brand strategy
through strong writing and communication. The team is an important part of brainstorm
process, ensuring that every concept developed, whether new business or for an existing
account, is purposeful, creative, well-presented and supported by strong messaging and backed by
strategy (meets client objectives). In addition to managing and articulating concepts, the Creative
Strategy team provides communication solutions in all phases of campaigns.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Every Creative Strategist must be able to think conceptually and design strategic solutions for
relevant, motivating audience engagements, through content creation and creative writing.
New Business and Account Planning Concepts
The Creative Strategist will support new business opportunities by leading brainstorms and
employing visionary, out-of-the-box thinking to design experiences and campaigns. In
addition to developing creative concepts and copy, Strategists will manage the concept
lifecycle, “tell the story” through creative copy, and manage the presentation outline.
Communication Strategy Support
Working closely with Client Services, the Creative Strategy team will contribute to live projects
in a content strategy, communication and message development capacity. The Strategist
will also serve as the bridge and support for Client Services when new concepts are required
based on scope changes and new requests arise.
EA Presentations and Content
The Creative Strategy team will be flexible and able to support the agency in multiple
capacities. Working closely with Design, Marketing and Business Development, Strategists will
assist in the development and delivery of presentations and proposals. They will also work
closely with Client Services and Marketing Communications to develop long and short-form
content, ensuring that all pieces delivered by EA share a unified voice and adhere to set
standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and participate in brainstorms to develop and expand upon creative concepts for
campaigns and programs of all types
- Write creatively, clearly and concisely, articulating themes and concepts developed by the
team and developing agency content
- Contribute to live projects in a content strategy, communication and message development
capacity
