Our client is a large bank in Wilmington, DE and they have asked for Aquent's help in identifying their next JR. ART BUYER. The Jr. Art Buyer will work in the bank's inhouse ad agency.

Assists Art Buyers in coordinating the research, purchasing and tracking of images for advertising, collateral and acquisition materials. This includes assisting Art Buyers to research and establish outside vendors such as photographers, fine artists, illustrators and stock image sources.

**** This is generally NOT a good fit for a graphic designer as it is not creative. ****

Responsibilities:
• Create purchase orders and track invoicing.
• Track copyright information, vendor information and licensing parameters for all images.
• Provide basic administrative support.
• Maintain an awareness of visual trends.
• Adhere to established processes to ensure compliance on all jobs.
• Assist Art Buyers with
- researching and identifying appropriate images for design projects as needed.
- researching and identifying artists to be commissioned by agency.
- the production of internal and external photo shoots
- creating estimates for stock images
- managing the image library

Required Skills:
• Bachelors Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, OR 3 - 5 years equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in visual communication.
• Demonstrated high-level organization and communication skills.
• Team oriented.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional fast-paced team environment.
• Able to handle direction and constructive criticism.
• Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac and PC platforms.
• Familiarity with Filemaker Pro is helpful

You will spend 2 days receiving classroom training, and then 2 days working with a peer and complete side-by-sides with other disciplines.

(1) Bachelors Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, OR 3 - 5 years equivalent work experience

(4) Demonstrated high-level of organization and superior communication skills.
