Jr Designer with Admin and with light design abilities

Temp, onsite in Santa Monica

Start: 1/21, expected to be an ongoing temp role & could go perm (high potential to go longer / full-time)

This is an admin position, so they definitely need to have admin skills... i.e. personable, experienced in MS Word, Excel, customer service: her customers are the team of 3.

BUT she wants them to have light Graphic Design skills, too, because their in-house Graphic Designer and is inundated with work.

a Jr. Graphic Designer (straight out of school or very light experience) AS LONG AS they do have the admin experience, too.

Also, they need to have a clean persona as far as social media is concerned.

Key Responsibilities:
•Perform administrative tasks, such as expense reports, ordering supplies, phones, travel, filing and additional organizational responsibilities
•Process Purchase Orders and maintain a P.O. Log
•Code and log all invoices
•Handle dub orders for all audio-visual materials (trailers, TV spots, radio)
•Update Microsoft One Note with creative assets on a regular basis
•Maintain the Creative Advertising Project Status Update (EXCEL spreadsheet) on a daily basis
•Provide support to the Creative team, including the Director of Creative Advertising, the Manager of Marketing Services and the in-house graphic designer
•Basic design of creative assets including corporate ads, Studio Best Practices guide books, Theatre Efforts slides, holiday card, slate sheet, etc.
•Scan newspapers and websites for Client and competitor advertising materials, including print ads, key art debuts, trailer debuts, etc.
•Update Clients's internal Hold Music for the phone system

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Entertainment industry experience
•Strong verbal and written communications skills, including proofreading and editing
•Excellent organizational, planning, time, budget and project management skills; highly-organized and detail-oriented
•Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
•Ability to work well in a team-based environment, personable, flexible, adaptable
•Experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a plus
