JNR Community Manager

Our ad agency client in downtown Toronto is looking for a rockstar Junior Community Manager to join their growing team! The right person must have up to 1 year experience in an advertising agency, must be able to hit the ground running with very little hand-holding.

Here are some of the must haves:

- Managed multiple social media communities across different channels (ie, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and be able to edit and create images and ads when needed.
- Regularly prepared reports on performance of each channel.
- Experience with content development.


Responsibilities:

- Create an effective content strategy and build a successful social community
- Create content calendars, and work-back schedules
- Stay up-to-date: Monitor emerging trends in social media tools, applications, channels and strategies and see how they can be applied internally


Skills:
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and best practices.
- Exhibits the ability to move from the creative side to analytical side of marketing and demonstrate their ideas are analytically sound
- Must have a passion for communication & community building and be keen on keeping up with latest techniques and trends.
- Highly creative and a great story teller.
- Able to produce engaging content.
- Great communicator with great written and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and be able to work within a collaborative team environment.
- Able to work under pressure and on several projects at once.
