Inventory Planner/Specialist

The Inventory Specialist supports Inventory Management by completing tactical execution at the product/category/item level. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring pre-season and in season tactical Inventory Management functions are completed to support the divisional financial & inventory plans.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre Season

Run Size Selling for prior season
Set up Size Profiles for future season
Size and Pack for future season
Set up BI reporting parameters for future season

In Season

Run Profit Logic report for IM planners weekly
Track DC stocking for current month
Manage initial allocation to support product and financial strategy
Manage replenishment allocation to support product and financial strategy
Run size reports in season to capture size selling shifts
Run weekly season code/inventory report
Run Midsight & Hindsight tool for Division
Pull Smart Store Reports for Division

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
Systems and Tools Acumen: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
Able to build effective relationships within the Inventory Management team
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strong computer skills.
Proven ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Start Date 2/3/2014 End Date 1/30/2015

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

The specialist position supports the division by running reports and tools. They will have a strong focus on allocation as well as handling the majority of sizing and packing future purchase orders.
