Our Oil ad Gas clientis seeking a Project Coordinator II for their Policy, Government and Public Affairs (PGPA) Business Unit. The Project Coordinator II will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within an 8-person Government Affairs Operations Team. They will have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand and support executives within international embassies, along with the federal government. The Project Coordinator II will have the potential to become a full-time employee. They will receive extensive growth experience if they have any interest government relations. 

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: 

•Provide both analytical support and administrative assistance to the International Government Affairs (IGA) team. 
•Research, compile and edit information for reports and make recommendations. Prepare drafts from notes. 
•Prepare presentations and draft both internal & external correspondence. 
•Coordinate executive visits & develop the Briefing Book (including drafting of select meeting materials and briefing memorandums). 
•Event/meeting planning coordination including; scheduling, organize meeting logistics, scribe, disseminate meeting minutes and prepare agendas. 
•Manage internal tracking processes. 
•Enter data into various Databases for reporting protocols and archiving. 
•Research and recommend changes to existing systems and procedures. 
•Assist with foreign and U.S. compliance requests. 
•Provide workflow and administrative support to the IGA Manager and select representatives. 
•Coordinate international and domestic travel plans and meeting activities. 
•Coordinate conference calls/bridges. 
•Provide support and management of logistics and executive engagement in both internal & external events. 
•Order & organize supplies, maintain inventory and compile receipts for various charges. 
•Set-up and maintain distribution lists. 
•Independently complete projects by gathering, organizing and summarizing information and preparing documents from general instructions. 
•Assist other Operations and IGA team members as necessary. 
•The position is integral in fostering group cohesion, streamlining processes and communication, and managing non-U.S. advocacy in Washington DC, in support of international business strategies 

Required Qualifications: 

•Bachelor’s degree. 
•Minimum 2-5 years in a coordination role, including stakeholder engagement and support for executive visits. 
•Demonstrated maturity and professionalism with a positive attitude - business professional attire is required daily. 
•Enjoy working in a high performing organization with high expectations. 
•Demonstrated ability to communicate with executives, foreign officials and diverse cultures. 
•Excellent written communication skills to provide high quality briefing support to the IGA team. 
•Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite – Word / Excel / PowerPoint. 
•Ability to multitask and work under pressure as the role often requires the individual to be working on several priority tasks at one time - often involving important executive visitors. It is vital, therefore, that this person can remain calm under pressure and to ensure that tasks are being completed on time and to a high standard. 

•Given the fast pace of the work, colleagues need to be able to work collaboratively together to ensure that assistance is given/requested when necessary. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

•Current or previous experience in project coordination/scheduling, or congressional staffing. 
•Current or previous experience with an Oil/Gas company, government department/office, think tank or professional business association.
