Our top entertainment client is looking to hire an International Theatrical Merch Sales and Wholesale Manager for a 4-6 month contract offering full benefits. This position will be onsite in Times Square.

This role is responsible for international and domestic wholesale distribution, and third party partner management of licensed productions. Main accountabilities include, but are not limited to, maximize in-theater retail sales through suggestive selling and promotional strategies, provide wholesale assortment and margins based on market knowledge, promote the brand through visual standards/retail marketing and maintain optimal relationships with customers for ultimate effectiveness. Additionally, manage the wholesale fulfillment staff to ensure all wholesale inventory, operations and accountings are properly executed.

This position is based out of our NYC offices, and will report to the Director of Merchandise Sales and Operations starting April 11th. This is a 4-6 month temporary role.

International Sales Manager

• Manage the relationship with our third party sales leaders at our international licensed productions. This includes, but not limited to:
o Weekly Sales Analysis which includes reviewing top selling items, demographic impact, selling promotions and other strategies that would have an effect on the business
o Assortment Planning: Consistently evaluate assortments for best and worst sellers and create action plans to move the business forward, via new additions, markdowns, promotions etc.
o Inventory and Wholesale Orders: Ensuring licensees are in stock of all wholesale items and placing re-orders accordingly, working with them to generate new self-developed product. This also includes working with their buyers, freight forwarding companies and customs/duties to get the goods from either our vendors and/or warehouses to their facilities.
o Licensee Produced Items: Partner with internal product manager to obtain feedback and approvals on the new merchandise additions the licensee wants to produce.
• Communicates with other Disney merchandise division for ongoing education of sales, trends and synergy opportunities.
• Partner with Inventory Buyer to ensure proper stock allocation on all international orders.

Corporate & Wholesale Sales

 Manages and develops sales forecasts for all international and domestic wholesale customers through sales strategies for exceeding goals. This includes productions, online shopping in the U.S. and U.K., and NYC based theater shops
 Work with finance and partners to Analyzes sales, facilitates sales and inventory tracking and maintains historical database relating to all wholesale businesses
 Oversees new business opportunities and builds beyond existing customer base, adhering to brand standards
 Responsible for defining business needs and improving workflow and tools to maximize sales potential
 Manages corporate sales processes and facilitates business-model changes and process adoption
 Liaises with Inventory Buyer to project future stock needs for all domestic and international productions based on projected and/or confirmed future orders, and subject to the approval of the Merchandise Manager and alignment with the financial/sales plan.
 Develops and maintains wholesale product catalog for all potential corporate sales clients
 Manages the Fulfillment Coordinator role to ensure that all wholesale orders are being properly fulfilled, shipped and invoiced on a timely basis. Also, working with the Coordinator and NYC Retail Managers to ensure proper stock room inventory levels.
 Monitors all wholesale invoices, payments of all wire transfers and credits. Also ensures that proper reconciliation with accounting team are being maintained.
 Ensure ERPLY (inventory and invoice system) has proper stock levels by conducting a monthly audit of the online and corporate stores. This includes counting the physical merchandise that is part of the wholesale (online) stock room with the Fulfillment Coordinator, as well as the virtual on hands in ERPLY in the Corporate Store.
 Monitor and ensure that all internal corporate merchandise requests go through the proper form and process. Manage the fulfillment coordinator in the fulfillment and invoicing of these requests.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• 4+ years of sales/client management experience.

• Assortment, Sales and Inventory reporting and analysis
• Invoice and Inventory Management
• Use of a Inventory and Invoice Software (such as ERPLY)
• Microsoft Office (specifically excel, word and PowerPoint). Photoshop a plus.
• Ability to speak Japanese, Spanish and/or German a plus
