International Product Marketing Specialist, Senior

As a Senior Product Marketing Specialist you will have responsibility for the overall administration of the bid/proposal process which includes reviewing, responding, coordinating, scheduling, communicating and securing the appropriate approvals for domestic RFPs and other customer-facing requests. Responsible for the overall quality of domestic RFPs and customer facing documents including consistency within the documents, completeness, appropriate responses to information requested and inclusion of appropriate contracts and/or other documents. This includes initiating and managing marketing programs and activities to support strategic objectives and product revenue, market share, and gross profit targets are met. This includes promoting products with clear and concise messaging, product launches, defining pricing strategies, educating and training field sales, attending trade shows, and supporting the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall management of standardized product content and messaging for use in customer-facing material, including Bids and RFPs.

• Responsible for the helping drive the overall product messaging as it relates to customer-facing material including consistency within the documents, completeness, and appropriate responses to information requested. Create standard responses for Executive Summaries, Product Q&A, Product Descriptions as it relates to RFPs.

• Assist Sales in strategy development for overall response. Provide guidance to RFP team on said product strategy for response. Review and edit response content provided by RFP team on all proposals.

• Interface with various levels of marketing management and personnel to remain up to date on product, messaging, and competitive intelligence in order to create/update content appropriately.).

• Author, proofread, & edit product content for Marketing and proposals. Maintain integrity of product content in appropriate content repository.

• Support downstream marketing projects as appropriate to support the dispensing business strategy

• Attention to detail with excellent quality control, including reviewing, and evaluating written materials

• Manages long term goals and drives projects to achieve timelines and deliverables

• Follow and be an advocate for corporate branding initiatives

• Strong team leader able to work extremely well with complex multidisciplinary teams and achieve quality, timely results

• Fosters a team player approach across multidisciplinary teams providing support or expertise when required

• Interfaces with various levels of management and personnel to expedite Bid/Proposal activities to ensure that deadlines are met including marketing, legal, regulatory, technical support etc. Prepares final package for the customer.

• Organizes and directs the proposal effort from beginning to end

• Coordinates proposal issues with upper management

• Provides the knowledge and physical resources necessary for the proposal team to write the proposal

• Creates an information-rich writing environment

• Prepares the proposal’s Executive Summary

• Analyzes the RFP

• Resolves RFP conflicts and RFP interpretations

• Leads preparation of the proposal management plan and ensures conformance

• Direct proposal production


• 3-4 years experience in marketing or communications

• 2 years minimum medical marketing experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications or a Bachelor's degree in another discipline coupled with relevant work experience

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.

• Excellent communications, presentation, writing and editing skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in: project management, planning, execution, time-management and

• follow-through skills

• Personal characteristics: dynamic, team player, detail-oriented, critical thinker, self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful - "will figure it out", customer-focused, interested in professional development/career progression, personable

• International experience MUST - previous title e.g. Global Account Management
