International Product Manager

Key message development and communication of product positioning and branding.
2. Develops marketing tools and globally organized marketing activities in support of the product.
3. Plans and contributes to the International Business Team meetings (IBT), International Experience Exchange Meetings (IEEM) and affiliate meetings.
4. Reviews the affiliate delivery of plans in line with the global strategy.
5. Identifies competitor activities and develops action to address them.
6. Implements the global marketing strategy through the affiliate companies.
7. Provides high level support and guidance to the affiliate companies on product issues.
8. Drives and coordinates development of marketing tools and activities (e.g. brochures, training manuals, slide decks, internet/intranet sites and other e-media, branding guidelines, congress stand designs, satellite symposia, posters, give-aways, stand alone meetings).
9. Drives and coordinates branding development/evolution process.
10. Drives and coordinates printing and distribution of publications supporting the product key messages.
11. Contributes commercial ideas into planning for phase IV clinical trials.
12. Manages branding and medical education agencies.
13. Maintains up to date knowledge of the global market for the therapy area.
14. Monitors competitor activity and recommends action.
15. Initiates appropriate market research.
16. Creates and fosters a strong team spirit and takes on the role of ‘product champion’.
17. Cultivates and develops Key Opinion Leaders, product advocates, speakers.
18. Prepares, implements and monitors international marketing budget.
19. Provides input into public relations and economics strategy.

Education
Minimum Required - Bachelor’s degree in marketing or science
Preferred Masters or MBA

Minimum Job Related Experience
2 year's sales experience in the diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industry as well as country product management experience. Experience should include product positioning and branding, demonstrated experience of translating science into marketing messages; Managed branding, medical education and PR/Communication agencies
Preferred:
Budget management experience
Ideally has launched a product
