International Product Manager - mobile display & applications

- Salary to £75,000 pro rata
- 12 month contract initially to cover maternity leave (January start)

One of the world’s foremost IT companies is seeking an International Product Manager to work on a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.

Role Purpose

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive and scale the International Mobile Display and Applications advertising business. The role focuses on business execution and ecosystem development largely across the EMEA region but with some coverage in Asia. The individual should be based in London.

Key Accountabilities

Leading initiatives to improve Mobile Display Ad-experiences including ad platform health, business lifecycle, product/inventory mix, monetization strategy, ecosystem and channel development in markets across EMEA and Asia.
• Leading v-teams of sales, ad operations and associated product or support teams to identify new propositions, streamline operational processes and resolve sales-impacting obstacles.
• Actively managing integrated business delivery, resolving operational issues and identifying execution risks.
Landing and growing foundational partner ecosystem to accelerate adoption and growth of mobile display products (including channel partners, publishers, rich media providers and platform providers).
• Managing internal and external strategic relationships, working closely with product and partner teams to prioritise target ad experiences and financial upside.
• Driving to exceed mobile advertising revenue goals and path to profitability.
• Planning and executing programs leading to business pipeline acceleration in partnership with EMEA product line managers/sales.
• Optimising overall monetization yield,market operations and sales/marketing execution.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The candidate should have an excellent track record and knowledge of internet advertising and/or mobile advertising to step into a key position accelerating revenue and share growth for the company’s mobile advertising business.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding business judgment and expertise in mobile advertising, online advertising, and/or mobile products and services. S/he will also have a strong track record of revenue and execution results, demonstrated connectivity with sales teams, key advertising agencies and industry partners as well as the ability to lead key initiatives from incubation to scale. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to help build and scale a significant line of business.
Essential Experience
The ideal candidate should have a proved track record product management, marketing, advertising agency/ecosystem and/or business development experience. S/he should have a deep understanding of online advertising products or other interactive media experience with an ideal emphasis on mobile. Graduate/advanced degrees preferred though not required.
