Team/Department:
The mission of the International Media team is to deliver world-class media for global advertising across the region and in each market that create compelling and enduring connections between our Client’s brands and audiences.


Role:
The International Media Team is looking for an International Media Manager (6 month contract) to manage global advertising media for consumer and commercial. If you’re great at building relationships, creative and a broad strategic thinker, our Client wants you on their team. We are looking for a highly motivated and strong performer to help deliver media leadership, insight and innovation for the campaigns across Europe. This position will report into the EMEA Media Group Manager and work in partnership with the media country leads across EMEA to support a variety of markets and campaigns.

This position is part of the International Media Team that is dedicated to providing regional and local market media expertise for our global campaigns across EMEA, APAC and LATAM. This team is part of the Global Media and Agency Management Team.


Key Accountabilities
• Review Global Media Briefs to provide deep media insights from your assigned markets.
• Manage local market media strategy in alignment with global / corporate goals
• Manage local media planning in alignment with global media strategy including media innovation across all channels, leveraging scale of local spend consistent with corporate guidance
• Build strong relationships with the local agency team, fostering the best work from our agency partnership and resolving challenges as needed
• Maintain the strong relationships with local media partners to enable early adoption of upcoming innovative media trends across all screens
• Drive cross team initiative around strategic partnerships, media innovation, audience insights
• Highlight and present best practices to showcase local insight and plans


Essential Experience for the role:
• Ideal candidate will have experience managing media planning at a recognized media agency or client
• Extensive media knowledge of key and emerging media in Europe and Russia.
• Experience in building and executing media plans
• Ability to structure, oversee and execute several complex projects across multiple stakeholders
• Experience in both B2B and B2C is ideal
• The positions can be based in London or Reading with 1 – 2 potential work trips within Europe.
• Fluency in Germany or Russian is very valuable.
International Media Manager
• Based in Reading or London Victoria – can be either.
• Salary : £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
• Contract to start February / March 2014
• Contract to run for 6 months (fixed)
