International Marketing Digital Design Lead

A successful and innovative start-up in a rapid global growth phase and on the hunt for a Design Lead to join their team. They have HQ are based in Paris along with international teams in local offices in Madrid, Milan, Warsaw, Hamburg, Moscow, Istanbul and recently London. They are very passionate in creating an entirely new, people powered, transport network. Their business product is every expanding with a dedicated customer service, state of the art web and mobile platforms, and a highly engaged community of users.

THE ROLE
This new role reports to the Global Head of Brand, who reports directly to company founders. You will lead the creative direction of all performance marketing, coordinating remote designers in all markets, focusing on building collaboration and feedback process with them. This is a rare opportunity to grow into a position of strategic influence at a dynamic, global brand. As a key manager, travel to local offices to build team relationships with local colleagues will be vital.
Responsibilities include:
Creative direction and production management of all online marketing design: content accessibility for remote designers, design consistency across markets, iteration based on performance learnings
Gaining influence and getting buy-in from local designers and creating best practises for efficient collaboration, building a constructive communication process between central design team and remote designers (weekly video meetings for example). Travelling to local offices will be key to success here.
Developing and articulating brand guidelines will be key deliverable
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years experience as a successful creative director and studio manager, with a great portfolio of marketing design, preferably digital
Great team project leader and communicator, able to get others on board and align multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to prioritise and lead complex projects, bring structure to big work streams
Comfortable to work in a start up culture with a high growth/agile environment, a fearless problem-solver with a can-do approach
