International Ecommerce Manager

Objective:

Develop and grow the international ecommerce propositions to deliver exceptional international sales growth. Develop new international sales channels to firmly establish the brand in our target international markets. Working with internal teams, third party developers and delivery partners, you will ensure that a first class user experience is delivered in each market. Together with the Head of Ecommerce, you will devise the international trading plan to ensure it is delivered on time, within budget and meets sales targets for each territory.

Additionally, you will take responsibility for the UK Hire website and ensure an omni-channel approach is implemented across all channels.

Accountable to:

Head of Ecommerce

Responsible for:

Identifying and developing market-specific trading and merchandising strategies.
Planning and delivering the channel and 3rd party platform strategy for existing and new international markets to maximise sales and and grow brand presence.
Working with Buying & Merchandising to understand range development plans and ensuring that a clear customer proposition is delivered for each market.
Planning and maintaining the trading calendar based around key events, themes and seasons in each territory, including creation and management of the promotional calendar.
Planning and briefing trading communications into the design team, ensuring that brand guidelines are adhered to.
Managing logistics partners to ensure that delivery and returns processes surpass customer expectations in each market.
Delivering conversion rate optimisation initiatives with detailed cost and benefit analysis.
Improving the online experience on the Hire site and ensuring a consistent customer journey across all touch points.
Reporting of site and channel performance metrics.
Working with the Head of Ecommerce to ensure profitability, sales and margin targets are achieved.
Working Relationships:

Work closely with the entire ecommerce team, ensuring planned trading and calendar initiatives are fully communicated.
Work closely with B&M on range planning and stock allocation. Be aware of new brand/product launches and plan these into the trading calendar in due course.
Work with external service providers e.g. Email provider, freelance creative photographer.
Work with Distribution Centre teams to ensure delivery and returns processes are optimised.
Work closely with the Hire Operational team to ensure the customer experience across channels is seamless.
Work with the Creative Director to ensure creative direction is on brand and suitable for online.
