International Business Development Manager - 6-9 month contract

My client is a leader in non-theatrical film distribution, representing many major Hollywood,

Bollywood and independent film studios in over 80 international territories.

My client provides licensing for film screenings that take place outside of the cinema

and home in environments such as hotels, hospitals, coaches, trains, schools, pubs and bars

and care homes etc.


To ensure maximum sales of product to the Non Theatrical market sectors


Prospect and identify opportunities to generate incremental revenue

Manage and develop key revenues


Customer Management

Grow and develop the business, seeking out new opportunities to grow

revenues particularly in the Outdoor screening, community screening and film society

sector internationally

 Liaise with local studio offices and develop key strategies for increasing revenue across

the region

 Secure on-going customer engagement and pro-active delivery of revenue

 Work with the Sales Director to develop trading strategies to achieve both annual fiscal

targets and long term objectives as set by the business

 Leverage relationship, product breadth and insight to develop new opportunities for

incremental contribution within the Sectors

Internal Management

 Develop and maintain collaborative relationship with teams

- Servicing – licensee liaison for studio title availability lists and approvals

- Marketing – licensee liaison for all marketing assets and approvals

- Legal – contract administration and management

- Finance – financial tracking of payments

 Pre and post activity analysis with recommendations

 Monitor and report sales performance, competitor initiatives and market / customer


Strategy & Planning

 Submit for approval by the Sales Director quarterly business plans for the region

 Assist implementing business strategies for new distribution activities including mobile,

internet, video-on- demand and physical assets

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

 A proven Sales track record in International Business Development within

Entertainment Sector

 2-3 years experience within the commercial licensing background

 Ability to negotiate with people at all levels including internal and external


 Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions

 A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business


 Experience in product development and contributing to pricing policy discussions

 Ability to manage prospective client expectations and keep promises

 Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail

 Ability to work as a remote individual

 Proven ability to manage multiple priorities

 Strong interpersonal communication skills essential

 Numerate and articulate with the ability to analyse & prioritise effectively

 Personable 'can do' attitude

 Enthusiastic, self–motivated, efficient and organised

 Some international travel required

 German, Spanish and English language speaking preferred
