International Account Manager

The AM is responsible for the supervision and end-to-end management of multi-market campaigns for strategic clients. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities from managing the client/agency relationship to being the main contact during the execution, launch and completion of the campaign. Throughout the campaign, the AM will deliver “white glove” service to the client and will ensure that campaigns are fulfilled in line with the customer’s requirements and expectations.

Role Purpose
Reporting to International Account Management Lead, the Account Manager (AM) partners with Sales and Services employees to manage strategic advertising campaigns with my client.

Given the Multinational aspect, these key accounts are highly complex and high touch operating campaigns across up to 64 markets in three international regions (EMEA, APAC and the Americas).

The AM is responsible for the supervision and end-to-end management of multi-market campaigns for strategic clients. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities from managing the client/agency relationship to being the main contact during the execution, launch and completion of the campaign. Throughout the campaign, the AM will deliver “white glove” service to the client and will ensure that campaigns are fulfilled in line with the customer’s requirements and expectations.

connect with consumers and address business challenges across multiple markets

Key Accountabilities
Campaign Management
• Manage highly complex campaigns for key media agencies and clients. Campaigns will generally run across 5 to 20 markets globally covering multiple time zones, languages and cultures
• Understand my client's digital product offering and technical requirements across 20 markets plus.
• Project manage multi-device campaigns that can include homepage takeovers.
• Interface daily with the account team, customers and internal v-team to drive the end-to-end execution in order to launch the campaign on time and per spec as agreed.
• Provide timely correspondence to internal and external partners with regular status meeting and emails.
• Support technical aspects of campaign launches to build customer confidence and increase the likelihood of re-purchase.
• Make informed decisions towards client campaign’s objectives on Brand and Audience.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve as required.
• Proactively interact with internal partners to address technical issues, monitor the campaign and generate the necessary reports and recommendations.
• Follow-up of campaign after launch to ensure full delivery as expected on all aspect of the campaign.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring of delivery and pacing and investigate and resolve delivery / performance issues.
• Proactively optimize campaign to ensure highest return on investment.
• Regular reports to the client during the duration of the campaign and final report including in depth analysis of results to present to the client on a face-to-face meeting.
• Conduct post campaign analysis and share useful learnings and best practices with the team.
• Action the implementation of any improvement needed in the process that you identified in your post mortem or during a campaign.
• Enforce local standard policies and procedures (business rules) to maintain quality standards and improve customer satisfaction.

Customer Management
• Manage the day-to-day running of the account; communicating on an on-going basis especially around potential issues
• Build solid relationships within the agency and act as point person for customer issues and concerns; it includes managing high profile direct clients’ relationships at a variety of levels within the customer organization and internally
• Develop knowledge, expertise and insights into the customers’ businesses and key industries.
• Drive up-/ cross-sell into target accounts and identify and realize additional revenue opportunities

Collaboration with Account Executive and Local Markets
• Work with multiple Multinational AE’s in developing business within the account identifying opportunities to up-sell and grow the business
• Develop and maintain relationship with internationally based advertising AM’s and AE’s and other relevant parties ensuring they are aware of and responding to particular multinational campaign requirements
• Collaborate with AE’s and Sale Planners on media plan preparation for client/agency meetings and participation where appropriate for assigned account(s)
• Contribute to generating additional advertising solutions for advertising

• Develop the customer relationship and business through effective campaign management, delivery and analysis
• Assist AE in achievement of revenue goal against defined customer base
• Deliver all reporting and on-going measurement requirements on time
• Performance/ Scale display functional knowledge
