Marketing and Communications: The Marketing and Communications (M&C) function builds our client's brand, protects its reputation, generates awareness of the company's capabilities and services and plays an integral role in supporting sales growth. Our client's teams are involved in a range of activities from advertising, sponsorships, media relations, internal communications to brand management and thought leadership initiatives.

Internal Communications: The UK Internal Communication team manages and delivers all of internal communications for its 10,000 employees in the UK. This includes communicating essential information on the company strategy and internal news and also building employee engagement through a variety of tools and channels.

Overall Purpose of the Role: An experienced and confident Internal Communications Manager required to drive internal communications programmes for UK Technology group. The role includes working closely with the Technology leadership team to develop and implement programmes for a diverse team of almost 5,000 people who are split across multiple disciplines. The position requires an individual with drive, enthusiasm and excellent organizational skills who is capable of working autonomously but also collaborating with a team. The successful candidate will also need to work as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders to guide the UK Technology Internal Communication programmes.

Main Activities/Tasks: • Programme and budget management for Technology communications initiatives. • Planning, management and development of content for a wide range of internal events – from an afternoon meeting for 150 Technology Managing Directors; to a full day school for 200 newly promoted UK/ Technology Consultants; or a Christmas Party for a community of 700 people • Development of content for the leadership team – writing leadership communications, developing video scripts and creating of presentation materials. • Management of digital communications such as the UK Technology Website • Management of review and approval of communications for UK Technology and its constituent groups • Ownership and promotion of a strong visual identity for UK Technology and its constituent groups • Supervision of one Specialist

Accountability/Responsibilities: • Create and manage an integrated internal communications and people engagement strategy to meet objectives set by UK Technology leadership team • Develop and implement communication strategies across multiple channels, including digital • Ensure that UK wide and UK Technology messages are communicated throughout UK Technology group, adapting the channel to suit the audience • Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues • Work autonomously and build partnerships/network with senior stakeholders as well as marketing and communications teams • Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders • Drive strategic communications plans

Special Requirements: • Strong stakeholder management skills • Ability to manage workload to deliver multiple projects simultaneously; to manage projects under tight deadlines and willingness to work overtime during peak phases

Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience: • University degree or equivalent required, preferably in English, journalism or a communications discipline • Substantial experience of internal communications, with history of developing and implementing targeted communication plans and using print- based, online, audio- visual and face-to- face channels • Excellent written and spoken English language skills • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail • Experience using digital communications channels as part of a strategic communications plan • Experience of managing communications budget to meet a variety of demands and objectives as effectively as possible • Confident ability to communicate at levels, building a good rapport whilst developing strong credibility with all stakeholders and experience of working with senior stakeholders in a trusted advisor capacity • Strong interpersonal skills • Leadership skills—supervision, mentoring and managing specialists/analysts and contractors. • Strong business acumen and knowledge of our client's areas of business and overall business strategy. • Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
