Internal Communications Manager

The Internal Communications Manager at our F500 payment technology company will be tasked with creating, implementing and managing a communications strategy for the Operations & Infrastructure group to align with the overall strategic priorities, goals, objectives and transformation efforts of the organization. This individual contributor role will drive change/transformation communication, engagement, promote alignment and inspire pride in our work.

Key responsibilities include:
• Establishes and maintains a communications strategy that aligns with the O&I organization strategic priorities.
• Works with leaders to create and shape key messages and communications campaigns ensuring consistent deliverables.
• Develops, writes, edits and produces communications for internal audiences. Determines appropriate communications outlets and styles to deliver messages based on the target audience.
• Develops, cultivates and maintains internal communications channels including intranet, newsletters, all-hands meetings.
• Coordinates internal communication events. Collaborates with other O&I employees to establish consistent communications messages and strategies.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in internal communications.
• Demonstrated experience in independently developing and leading significant communications campaigns.
• Advanced knowledge of communications principles and practices, and knowledge of the company's products and solutions.
• Individual must have experience executing high-impact communications strategies and programs; excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise deliverables.
• Excellent time management, decision-making, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks/deadlines and be detail and deadline-oriented.
• Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and partner with multiple teams and functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience preferred in building and managing employee communications channels and knowledge of the latest communications technologies and tools, including: web-based employee portals, webcasts, video, and social media
• A solid understanding of vision and strategy, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
