Position- Internal Communications Designer (part time)
Location-Mountain View
Start date- asap
Duration- 12 months
Hours- 20-25 hours per week
Work is to be done onsite. Remote is not an option.

The company produces several customer facing software products with slightly different looks and feels. The designer will be charged with assisting the team in developing a cohesive design program for all of their products and will be charged with developing a communications plan to internal employees. The client requires candidates who are equal parts designer and communicator. Your portfolio must provide examples of both content development and design.

Job Responsibilities (in priority order)
1. Produce information design and graphics for use in explaining design system concepts and conventions, to be used in design gallery, slide decks, newsletters, etc.
2. Design and produce monthly design system newsletter for cross-functional employee community (designers, product development, product management, and marketing). Responsibilities include content edits, design, and layout.
3. Design and produce quarterly articles on the design system for company-wide communications (responsible for content edits, design, and layout). Partner with corporate comms team for intranet publication.
4. Provide design assistance and templates for slide decks and other materials for executive reviews and presentations of the design system.
5. Produce design system communication artifacts, including:
• Posters / banners
• Flyers
• Brochures
6. Produce additions and updates as needed for design system master slide deck
7. Design and produce one-off design system communications as needed
8. Publish documentation for newly approved or updated designs in appropriate repositories
