Internal Communications Advisor

Our client, a major Oil & Gas company, is looking for a Campus Employee Communications Advisor who will provide overall direction and strategy for internal communications at their 2 large campus locations.

Position responsibilities and duties include:
• Provide strategic direction for Campus & Hughes Landing communication.
• Set and implement strategy, editorial calendar, milestones, channels, as well as processes and metric reporting. Will interface with internal management and senior leadership on strategy and execution. Types of communication channels include video, print, digital signage, email, and intranet (Inside Houston).
• Liaise with internal Houston Campus and Hughes Landing communication stakeholders to prioritize deliverables.
• Engage with internal team and resources to execute on projects and make sure deadlines are met.
• Produce content as needed (writing, editing, design, and publishing).
• Set up, run, and complete regular usage reports on communication programs and provide these reports to management and senior leadership in PG&A as well as GSC.

Functions include:
• Identifying communication opportunities.
• Interfacing with stakeholders and senior management, establishing priorities.
• Project management and coordination.
• Work within internal processes and team to publish content and materials.
• Understand, advise, and ensure use of correct brand and communication standards. Quality control.
• Basic design – especially with MS PowerPoint
• Establish best practices and processes for ongoing messaging.
