Interim Project Manager (6 months contract)

The Role – PROJECT MANAGER (CRM reward scheme)

Working closely with the Senior Business Improvement Manager, Partnership Managers and IT teams the successful candidate will take ownership of the day to day planning and tasks to ensure successful delivery and roll out of all current projects for this client's membership rewards scheme. Providing regular reporting on project status, next steps, risks, project spend and implementation deadlines.

The successful candidate will:
• Monitor overall progress for live projects working closely with key stakeholders, recommend and initiate corrective action as appropriate to ensure project delivery is on-time and within budget.
• Work is close collaboration with the Senior Business Improvement manager to plan, co-ordinate and recommend resource to support live and new projects.
• Work is close collaboration with the Senior Business Improvement manager and finance team to provide regular forecasts on project spend and monthly budget forecasts.
• Co-ordinate the day to day detailed planning for each live project working closely with all stakeholders. Update project plans, co-ordinate next steps and contribute to project meetings on a weekly basis.
• Work closely with external suppliers and internal colleagues to develop and progress project plans, ensuring a positive collaborative working relationship is maintained whilst progress is made at the required pace and deadlines achieved.
• Work in close collaboration with the local IT team to ensure solutions are delivered to the required spec within budget and deadlines.
• Work across functions to define processes and identify opportunities to improve the business for customers for our business as usual functions.
• Develop training and presentation materials to support the Rewards teams to manage new projects.

Role Accountabilities

Rewards Project Plans
• Produce and update project plans on a regular basis
• Ensure all relevant stakeholders have input into the plan
• Ensure plans is executed and results are shared with key stakeholders

Business Improvement
• Support the identification and improvement of current business processes

• Update and produce presentational packs to inform colleagues

I spend:
• 50% of my time working on live projects understanding the detail of each project stream, highlighting the risk and concerns and making recommendations to rectify
• 20% of my time working with teams designing and identifying all the process and systems requirements to support the agreed plan
• 20% of my time writing business process documentation/project plans and any other material needed to support the communication of the plans
• 10% of my time communicating the plans to stakeholders and following up on agreed actions with partners and stakeholder

Candidate Profile
• Experienced at project management with a strong track record of delivery
• All round strong project management skills
• Strong personal drive and willingness to get things done
• Ability to work well across teams with multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and process skills
• Good communicator and experience of working cross functionally
• Can build effective working relationships quickly and work well within a team
• Good written and communication skills
• Track record of designing and improving business processes
• Prince II or Sigma Six trained preferable but not a prerequisite
• Trained to a good level in Excel & PowerPoint
• Competent in all others aspects of MS Office
