Interactive Project Manager

Our client,located in downtown Chicago is in search of an Interactive Project manager. This position will be a temporary opportunity until September.

Main project will be working strategy and planning for social media efforts and websites for boat shows and member activities. They will be strategy as well as content management for social media.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with the development and execution of online marketing plans for the national boating awareness campaign and 20 boat shows.
• Implement and manage SEO best practices.
• SEM strategy development & management, including delivery of ROI reports, analysis and strategic planning.
• Oversee content development and content curation.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including writing effective content & managing data.
• Landing page development for SEM campaigns, email campaigns, print ads & other marketing efforts (working with web development team).
• Develop relationships, partnerships, and backlinks, while continually identifying new leads and cross-promotional opportunities.
• Oversee statistical analysis of all marketing & technical data and produce clear, focused and accurate reports.
• Develop and manage social media strategy in the B2C and B2B arena
• Social Media Community Management including developing branded and engaging messaging, responding to user feedback and assessing user behavior.
• Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on trends, rapidly changing technology and best practices in the digital arena.


Position Requirements:
• True team player with the desire to work on multiple exciting initiatives and programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven experience with Social Media initiatives and management
• Experience in Business to Business marketing a major plus
• Strong analytical aptitude


Credentials/Experience Requirements:
• BA/BS in marketing–related field
• 4-5 years of interactive marketing
• Google analytics experience preferred
• Ad server management experience preferred
• Proficient in social media posting using Hoot Suite to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Four Square

Working Conditions:
• Overtime may be required
• Office environment
• Light travel
